Washington state lawmaker potential V.P. pick?

Speculation of the day:  The Daily Caller says Washington State Republican Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers could be a vice-presidential surprise pick.

McMorris, who served in the state legislature representing eastern Washington, has represented the 5th district in Congress since 2005.  The Daily Caller says Republicans have been floating her name.

Is it plausable?  McMorris is Mitt Romney’s state chair, and the highest-ranking Republican woman in Congress.  However, she has a relatively low profile even in Washington state and would not bring a built-in constituency to a ticket.

And what does she think?  “It’s hard for me to imagine the nominee would actually approach me, you know?” McMorris Rodgers told the Daily Caller.
